Malcolm Butler (Saint Mary's).

email: mbutler@ap.stmarys.ca

Ph.D. in theoretical nuclear physics. Current interests are mainly in the area of particle physics (low-energy tests of QCD, neutrino physics, etc.)

Useful Teaching Links

The SLAC SPIRES high-energy and nuclear physics publication database
The Particle Data Group

The Particle Data Group coordinates high-energy physics and nuclear physics information from around the world. The Review of Particle Physics is useful for data on masses, cross-sections, analysis techniques, etc., and the Group is also involved in educational outreach projects such as The Particle Adventure through the Comtemporary Physics Education Project (CPEP).

The Durham-RAL Reaction Database

Want to know how large the cross-section is for production of a Z0 boson at LEP? This database can help. It allows you to specify this or any other reaction and energy and it comes back with the results you need.
